Looking to spice up your summer wardrobe and channel your inner Rihanna or Queen Beyoncé. Then check out the limited edition eyewear collaboration Adam Selman x Le Specs, which is available only in Singapore and Malaysia at theWYLDshop.
Teaming up with cult designer Adam Selman, Le Specs packs a playful punch with this capsule collection of statement frames that showcase Le Specs‘ ever-present sense of humour.
The exuberant campaign was shot by Selman’s creative team, photographer Philipe Jarrigeon and stylist Mel Ottenberg in the designer’s New York home. Inspired by ’70s Antonio Lopez’s series of Polaroid shot, the campaign manifests a strong evocative energy and yearn to push boundaries.
“We were looking to work with someone who could create something truly unique and push the envelope in terms of attitude and energy. Adam’s work is instantly recognizable, and he knows what the ‘it’ girls want. His approach is cheeky and fun, which works so well with the Le Specs brand,” said Le Specs Designer, Hamish Tame
The designs draw strong influence from Selman‘s beloved movies, resulting in a collection that’s a mashup of Catherine Deneuve in ‘The Hunger’ with Sue Lyon in ‘Lolita’. ’70s-esque glitter accents and ’80s disco are high on the agenda, featuring flat profile, cats-eye shapes that are highly angular, emphasised in rubberised and matte finishes.
If you are an ‘it’ girl, this piece of accessory will become an essential in your closet.
