Just when you thought that your sneaker collection was complete and you can now stop with the splurging, this piece of hot news came along. We hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you’re going to have to put your savings on hold for just a little while longer. Reebok just announced that they’re partnering with Victoria Beckham, and we’re so thrilled.
Victoria Beckham shared the news on her Instagram account captioning the post, “Excited to announce my new partnership with @reebok!”, saying that her website will post updates.
The collaboration Victoria Beckham is doing with Reebok puts her in a pretty good place. All other female collaborations with Reebok are presented to empower women. While we have almost little to no information on this collaboration as yet, we’re definitely excited, taking into consideration Victoria Beckham’s modern, minimalist aesthetic. Mixing minimalist and sporty styles sounds like heaven to us, we’ll be honest. Senior Vice President of Women’s Initiatives at Reebok, Corinna Werkle, said in a press release that they look to partner with influential women who truly want to change the world, and there is no better embodiment of that than Victoria Beckham. She also mentions that Victoria Beckham has a relentless desire to help women become the best versions of themselves, and that this desire translates to everything she touches, including her designs. Likewise, Victoria Beckham herself mentioned in a press release that she has always championed instilling confidence in women and Reebok is a brand that has been at the forefront of this message for a long time. She did mention that the initiative will challenge the traditional notion of fitness meets fashion, meaning the Reebok collection will definitely be suitable for you to get down and dirty in.
This collection is said to be released in late 2018. Good things take time, right? Since that means we can’t work out till late 2018, you know, since we don’t have pretty fitness wear, we’ll just sit here and wait as patiently as we possibly can.
