With shirts at S$1,000, jackets at S$3,000 and little black dresses at S$2,500, purchasing anything from Victoria Beckham’s polished store means you must have a well-padded bank account or a serious moment of madness. But this could change! During a meeting with Fern Mallis, CFDA‘s ex-director and a respected fashion consultant, the former Spice Girl declared: “I’d like to offer clothes to people that can’t or don’t want to pay designer prices. I really want to make women feel great and be empowered. I still want to reach out to that customer. It’s just figuring out who to do it with and when to do it.”. Does her declaration suggest the launch of a more affordable line (the opposite strategy to the one adopted by Marc Jacobs, who merged the Marc by Marc Jacobs diffusion line back with the main line earlier this year) or rather a one-shot collaboration with a high-street brand?

We’re betting on a collaboration with Swedish giant H&M or British brand Topshop. After Alexander Wang and Kendall and Kylie Jenner, it seems conceivable.
