   A common problem with matte lipsticks is that more often than not, it dries up your lips to produce a matte effect (which doesn’t tend to last long). Multiple uses mean you’ll eventually end up with dry and cracked lips. But according to TryandReview.com User Slaydyjean, this problem doesn’t apply to the Revlon Matte Balm! She says that “This is perfect for those who want to nourish their lips but doesn’t like the sticky feeling of a lip balm! […] I wear this whenever I don’t feel using a lip tint/lipstick.”

2. “I just love the packaging.”

   While at first glance packaging may seem insignificant, it’s purpose is to benefit the application process. The Revlon Matte Balm is shaped like a crayon which makes the application really easy and convenient. TryandReview.com User Slaydyjean agrees, citing that “I just love the packaging. It’s a crayon-like packaging and you don’t have to sharpen the balm.”

3. “It’s not that long lasting […], but I don’t mind.”

   TryandReview.com User Slaydyjean shared her honest opinion that “for its staying power, it’s not that long-lasting so you have to re-apply it, but I don’t mind.” It is only natural that lip products rub off over time – especially after eating. We looked at other reviews by testers, and some agree the product is not long-lasting while others disagree with this sentiment.
