Imagine that you’re browsing the aisles at Zara and you spot a fabulous dress. Wonder how it looks like on you? Will the outfit suit you? What if we told you that with just your smartphone, you can view the SS18 Zara Studio Collection and also instantly purchase all the looks through the Zara Augmented Reality app, as well as in store?

From 12 April, fashion retail experience will meet technology at Zara. The much-loved fashion brand has intersected with the likes of AR, and for two weeks only you can access their limited-edition AR app. This cutting-edge technology gives shoppers a digital escape — allowing consumers to seamlessly integrate virtual clothes with the ‘real world’ by having models, Léa Julian and Fran Summers, modelling the products on your screen displays. The activation plays out at three different sites: store windows, centrally located podiums, and atop e-commerce boxes. Users simply need to position their mobile devices at the graphic signages and a whole frenzy of fashion moments will unravel.

It ticks all the right boxes when it comes to making an impression and unveiling different sequences of new looks: interactive holograms donning Zara’s latest collection? Check. And if you thought it couldn’t get any better, you’re mistaken — there is a social media sharing feature for you to take and send photos alongside the holograms! Be sure to strike your best pose and upload your interactions. Get ready to see an unprecedented surge in your likes!

Are you ready for an AR Fashion intervention? Head on down to Zara outlets at Ngee Ann City, ION Orchard, Marina Bay Sands, and 313@Somerset.
