Carine Roitfeld collaborates with UNIQLO for Fall Winter 2015

Fast fashion retailer UNIQLO has frequently collaborated with coveted style icons such as Ines de La Fressnge or brands such as Jil Sander to bring affordable yet stylish creations to us. This time round, the Japanese retailer is working with Carine Roitfeld to bring us the Carine Roitfeld Paris Collection for Fall Winter 2015.

If you didn’t already know, Carine Roitfeld almost created the Porn chic in the 2000s and has been Tom Ford’s muse ever since. She was the editor-in-chief of French Vogue from 2001 to 2011, elevating the publication to a fashion bible status. Prior to that, Carine Roitfeld worked on publications such as French Glamour, V Magazine and French Elle. Today, she’s the Global Fashion Director of Harper’s Bazaar and the editor-in-chief of CR Fashion Book, a publication that she has founded, where she collaborates with A-listers photographers such as Karl Lagerfeld or Bruce Weber and up-and-coming talents like Pierre Debusschere. What we’re saying is that she’s basically fashion royalty.

Carine Roitfeld enthused, “I feel joy at creating new mode expressions. I am constantly asking myself what these are, and creating new clothing within the UNIQLO LifeWear concept is a great challenge. I started with the idea of clothes that I would want to wear myself, and developed this into clothes that anyone would want to wear. A woman’s ideal of clothes that transforms her when she wears them.”

Lending her impeccable sense of style, Carine Roitfeld’s collaboration with UNIQLO will be launched in the last quarter of 2015. UNIQLO has proudly stated that the new line will reflect Roitfeld’s “broad experience with numerous designers and creators in bringing new styles to the world”. That honestly sounds super exciting and we can’t wait to be decked out in Carine Roitfeld’s feminine style!

Bringing together UNIQLO’s Lifewear concept, this 40-piece line will tie together high-quality, comfortable clothing with Carine Roitfeld’s exceptional designs at reasonable prices. The collection will be available at selected UNIQLO stores in Singapore and via the online store, so keep your eyes peeled!
