The Belgian designer already has a good track record with Versus – Versace’s second line – having already signed a capsule spring-summer collection 2015 with the Italian brand, warmly welcomed by the fashion world.
Now the brand and the designer are taking it to to the next level by making him the official Artistic Director of Versus Versace.
Following the departure of former Artistic Director Christopher Kane in 2012, Donatella Versace announced her intention to hire a different young talent every season.
In 2013, singer MIA collaborated on Versus Versace before handing over the reins to Belgian designer Anthony Vaccarello, already running his eponymous label.
His Spring/Summer 2015 collection perfectly reinterprets the ultra-sexy and sensual allure of Versus Versace: dresses and low-cut tops, asymmetrical cuts and sculpting fabrics…the collection, presented on the runway in New York last September had seduced the fashion industry.

It’s during the Fall/Winter 2015-2016 Fashion Week that the designer will present his second collection for the Italian line. In parallel, he is also working on his own collection for his eponymous house which will be presented next March in Paris. The label has some pretty glamorous followers: Anja Rubik, Gisele Bündchen, Kylie Minogue and even Jennifer Lopez… his ultra-feminine creations have seduced some hard to please women! And his new role promises even more beautiful fashion moments on the red carpet!
