G’day mate! Despite a few of their big home brands like Sass & Bide and Zimmermann taking a break from the Australian Fashion Week, these gaps were filled by emerging and expanding labels. As the industry celebrated its 20th anniversary last week, the Aussie fashion industry has come a long wat, with Aussie designers now taking the international stages by storm.
Despite Australia’s climatic differences in seasons, the fashion event of the year from 12th to 16th April is still regarded significantly for its global and local contributions. The energy Down Under is always one that’s fresh and lively, especially when juxtoposed against the backdrop of surfers knocking against the waves at the iconic Bondi Icebergs Club‘s pool. This was undoubtedly one of our top ten selected shows from Down Under.
