Along with the breeze of spring came the bi-annual fashion event of Shanghai Fashion Week which took place at the heart of town in Xintiandi. The hip area that’s usually brimming with regular trendspotters upped the ante with the extravaganza that was the fashion tents. Held from 7 to 15 April, it was a visual feast for fashionistas.
Known for their quirky and flamboyant get-up, the Chinese didn’t disappoint. Apart from layers of interesting textures, there were mismatched accessories paired with unconventional looks. Colours were kept to a bare minimal, complemented by one pop shade (even on their hair), which elevated the overall chicness.
