American magazine Lucky already paved the way a few months ago by featuring a trio of fashion bloggers on the cover of their February issue. There was the very chic Nicole Warne from the blog Gary Pepper Girl, edgy blonde Zanita Whittington from her eponymous blog and the most influent of them all: Chiara Ferragni, also known as The Blonde Salad. Apparently, another Condé Nast publication could not resist featuring Chiara on their cover too: the Italian IT-girl is gracing the front page of the latest issue of Vogue Spain.

Photographed by Nico Bustos in a khaki parka and bodycon dress, the 27-year-old is the first blogger to land a Vogue cover.

However, this shouldn’t come as much of a surprise. After all, Chiara has been invited (and possibly paid?) to take her place in the highly-coveted front rows of the major fashion shows, has been decked in from top to toe dressed up in brands, and is also the darling of streetstyle photographers. Why, Chiara is every bit as good as Anna Dello Russo or Miroslava Duma. As she became recognised and acknowledged by the fashion intelligentsia, the Italian blogger saw her opportunities grow within just a few seasons. Now, her fashion sense and professionalism have finally landed her a spot in the iconic magazine.

This moda lover generated about 9 million SGD in 2014 (6 millions euros). Between her shoe line, which is now available at Robinsons in Singapore, and her partnerships with brands, she has successfully became a well-known brand thanks to her blog launched in 2009 and now read all over the world.

With over 3 millions followers on Instagram, she could possibly be the one who inspires a new generation of fashionistas.
