We recently covered Chanel’s mesmerizing new campaign ‘3 Girls 3 Bags‘ with the ever sublime Kristen Stewart. This time however, another fresh-faced trio takes the front line in a celebrated campaign.
Shot by Stephen Shore, Mamie, Grace and Louisa Gummer, the three daughters of highly adored actress, Meryl Streep are now fronting the new collection by the H&M-owned label, & Other Stories, which is in collaboration with accessories designer, Claire Vivier. Comforting and chic, with a distinctively city vibe, the girls are seen strolling down the streets in pastel coloured shirts and blue jeans.
Like any true city life-inspired collection, the line boasts of an assortment of everything from tote bags to fanny packs. “They are my dream customers,” said Claire Vivier of the girls, “creative, hardworking, stylish, city girls.”
With not just their work ethic to their name, the trio also has amazing talents to boot. Mamie, 31, has a recurring role in The Good Wife, while Grace, 28, has appeared on American Horror Story, Extant, and HBO’s The Newsroom. Louise, 23 is the only professional model amongst the three, signing onto IMG models, alongside the likes of Karlie Kloss and Chrissy Teigen, and previously worked for Claire Vivier in 2013. Budding actresses topped off with a modelling stint – it seems like the girls are indeed following in their mother’s footsteps.
Additionally, Vivier relates that the collection was inspired by the “urban busy woman, and like all my pieces these are utilitarian, but distinctively chic and fun.” After opening stores all over Europe as well as one in New York, we are looking forward to welcoming this brand in Asia!
The only question now is: when will the Swedish label take the plunge?
