Today marks the launch of Uniqlo’s third collaboration with French fashion icon and model, Ines de la Fressange. Like all her previous collections, the Spring/Summer 2015 features comfortable, and cool textures and styles.

French chic personified, Ines de la Fressange knows a thing or two about fashion. She was the muse of Karl Lagerfeld and is now the face of Parisian shoe label Roger Vivier. Merging her passion for fashion with the UNIQLO LifeWear concept, she has been working closely with the Japanese label’s Design Director Naoki Takizawa to produce cool and comfortable textures and hues for Spring/Summer 2015. These 46 items were inspired by the mystique city of Marrakech, Morocco, during a vacation by the Mediterranean Sea.

The range includes hues of vanilla and limestone grey that bring about vivid yet comforting and natural contrasts, while hemp and cotton provide comfortable and feminine textures. She also takes a step out of the quintessential and plays around with navy and other darker shades not commonly associated with the Summer garb.

Where the Singapore weather once bore the brunt of all our complaints, we now instead can’t wait to throw on one of these stylish cotton shirts and pair it with sleek summer sneakers. Add on a simple tote and you’re all ready to beat the heat!

Ranging from $24.90 to $169.90, the collection is now available at 313@Somerset, Suntec City, and online at www.uniqlo.com.sg
