The statuesque beauty will open London Fashion Week 2015 for a good cause. A charity fashion show will be organized by Fashion For Relief to support research against the Ebola virus. Naomi plans to gather her best model friends on the catwalk for the occasion, among which is rumoured to include top model, Kate Moss. Designers such as Givenchy, Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney, Balmain, Marchesa, Versace and Vivienne Westwood will offer their hand-made pieces for the project. The supermodel leading the project said, “I am very happy to return to London to open the fashion week for this very special cause close to my heart”. Combining fashion with charity, the model added that the Fashion For Relief show “is an incredible event, and this year we hope to raise even more money. Raising awareness about Ebola and learning about prevention methods is critical in preventing the spread of disease “

Yet, this is not the first time the top model has her hands in philanthropy. After working with the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund, she started Fashion For Relief in 2005. Created to organise charity shows, in the past 10 years, the association has rendered help to causes far and wide – from the victims of Hurricane Katrina, and earthquakes in Haiti, to those of terrorist attacks in India. In November, Naomi installed a pop-up store in the prominent Westfield shopping centre in London, collecting 30,000 pounds for Ebola. So if you’re tempted to spend a fashion moment on goodwill, tickets are on sale here for 50 pounds!
