After the comeback of the Stan Smith in 2014, Adidas is reviving yet another cult pair, the Superstar.
And to celebrate their return, the brand asked a quartet of stars to play in a black and white short video.
After bringing the cool designer for the stylish collab, the sportswear brand chose the singer Rita Ora, former football player David Beckham, pop star Pharrell Williams and American basketball player less known in Asia than in the US, to be ambassadors of the famous shoes from the 70s. United in a video directed by Karim Huu Do, each of them wonders what is a “superstar” today. They go over every cliché and stereotype whilst trying to redefine what an international star really is. At the end, what remains important is not fame and its benefits but their passion for what they do.
But what about these legendary shoes? You can already find them in stores.
